Ousmanou Mohamadou (born 12 July 1988 in Douala, Cameroon) is a Cameroonian professional football striker currently playing for Singburi in Thai Division 2 League Central Region.
Early life
Mohamadou was born in Douala, Cameroon.
Club career
Phnom Penh
In early 2008 the 19-year-old Cameroonian striker was signed by Cambodian side Phnom Penh Crown FC for which he scored 18 goals in 23 appearances and gave 5 assists. It was Phnom Penh's most successful season ever with winning the league and cup title.[1] On 7 September 2009 Mohamadou scored a hattrick in Phnom Penh's stunning 6:3 win over Spark[2]
Samut Sakhon
Mohamadou's performances in Phnom Penh caught the attention of TTM Samut Sakhon FC who had just moved from Bangkok to Samut Sakhon. TTM signed Mohamadou on a one-year deal for the season 2009. He continued his scoring streak with 11 goals and 7 assists in 20 appearances.
Roi Et
For the 2010 season Mohamadou moved to Roi Et United F.C. where he scored 20 goals and 9 assists in 33 appearances in the 2010 season of the Thai Division 2 League North Eastern Region. In season 2011 of the Thai Division 2 League North Eastern Region he helped Roi Et to win the title with 11 goals and 5 assists in 23 appearances.
Udon Thani
In 2012 Mohamadou transferred to Udon Thani F.C. for which he was the top goalscorer and had his best season so far with 24 goals and 6 assists in 29 appearances.
Ubon Ratchathani
In 2013 Mohamadou moved to Ubon UMT for which he scored 13 goals and 8 assists in 26 appearances in the 2013 Thai Division 2 League North Eastern Region.[3][4][5]
Roi Et
In 2014 Mohamadou moved back to his old club Roi Et United F.C. now in Thai Division 1 League.
Pattani
Despite scoring 12 goals for Roi Et Mohamadou was loaned to 2014 Thai Division 2 League Southern Region club Pattani F.C. in June 2014 where he scored 2 goals in 3 appearances so far.
