Ouwerkerk (51°38′N 3°59′E / 51.633°N 3.983°E) is a village in the southwest Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, Zeeland about 60 km south of Rotterdam.
In 2001, the village of Ouwerkerk had 454 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.15 km², and contained 202 residences.[1] The statistical area "Ouwerkerk", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 690.[2]
History
Ouwerkerk was a separate municipality until 1961, when it was merged with Duiveland.[3]
