PP -Pianissimo- Ayatsuri Ningyou no Rinbu (PP -ピアニッシモ- 操リ人形ノ輪舞) is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Innocent Grey that was originally released for the PC on September 29, 2006. The plot is a murder mystery that takes place in Tokyo City in 1936 (Year 11 of the Shōwa period).[1]

Staff and Development

The game's artist is Miki Sugina (杉菜水姫 Sugina Miki) and the script is written by Yuki Masuda (ますだ由希 Masuda Yuki). PP -Pianissimo-'s opening theme, Butterfly ( Chō), and ending theme, "Distance", are performed by Haruka Shimotsuki.[3]

Reception

On Getchu.com, a popular Japanese game selling site, PP -Pianissimo- was the 46th bestselling visual novel for the year of 2006.[4]

Release History

The game was originally released for Windows on September 29, 2006. It was later rereleased as a DVDPG by Blueberry Soft on May 23, 2008.[2] PP: Pianissimo was also included in the 3-game bundle Innocent Grey Mystery Collection along with Kara no Shoujo and Cartagra, released on July 24, 2009.[5] The same three games, along with a fan disc, were released together on December 3, 2010, in a bundle titled Innocent Grey Premium Box "Paranoia".[6]
