Palaran Stadium, also known as East Kalimantan Main Stadium, also is a multi-use all-seater stadium in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. It was opened in 2008 and has a seating capacity of 60,000, making it the second largest stadium in Indonesia, after the Bung Karno Stadium. It is also the largest stadium in the island of Borneo. The stadium was the main venue for the 2008 Indonesia National Games. Due to its remote location, the stadium is rarely used for official football matches, and is considered abandoned.
