The pale-mandibled aracari (US /ˌɑːrəˈsɑːri/ AHR-ə-SAHR-ee,[1] UK /ˌɑːrəˈsɑːri/ ARR-ə-SAHR-ee or /ˌɑːrəˈkɑːri/ ARR-ə-KAHR-ee),[2] or pale-mandibled araçari (Pteroglossus erythropygius), is a species of bird in the Ramphastidae family. It is found in western Ecuador and Peru.

Taxonomy and systematics

The pale-mandibled aracari is considered to be a subspecies of the collared aracari by some authourities.[3]
