The Asian Widow, also known as Blue-Tailed Yellow Skimmer, (Palpopleura sexmaculata) is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is widespread in many Asian countries. 2 subspecies are recognized.[1] It is no longer considered as a valid dragonfly species inhabit in Sri Lanka (van der Poorten, N. 2011).
