Pedro Schwartz, OBE, is a Spanish economist.
Early life
Pedro Schwartz graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, where he received bachelor of arts and doctorate of law degrees.[1] He received a master's degree and a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics.[1][2]
Career
Schwarts is the Fundación Rafael del Pino Research Professor of Economics at CEU San Pablo University.[2] He is also a visiting lecturer in Economics at the University of Buckingham.[1] He serves as an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute.[2]
Schwartz joined the Mont Pelerin Society in 1977.[2] He serves as its president in 2014-2016.[3]
Schwartz was made Honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1990.[1]
