SMP Deutschland GmbH (Samvardhana Motherson Peguform) is an automotive manufacturer headquartered in Bötzingen, Germany near Freiburg im Breisgau.
The company, originally named Peguform, repeatedly changed owners, with seven different owners since 1987.[2] In 2004, following a bankruptcy, the company was acquired by Cerberus. Since that time the company has been exempted from the chemical industry's collective agreement on wages, leading to mounting employee dissatisfaction in 2014.[1] In 2011 it was acquired by the Samvardhana Motherson Group[2] and was renamed Samvardhana Motherson Peguform.
