Peoples Bank

The Peoples Bank[1] is a local bank chain (currently 26 branches) based in Bellingham, WA. Average 2013Q1 assets $1,237,076,000 per FDIC.[2] It is not currently a member of the Federal Reserve System. It was founded as Peoples State Bank in Lynden,WA in 1921. In 2007, it had 10 branches and a total of $489,223,000 in local deposits.[3] Peoples National Bank of Washington[4](signage: Peoples Bank) is also a former Bank in Washington State, since acquired several times now run as US Bank.[5]
