Percy Janes First Novel Award
The Percy Janes First Novel Award is a Canadian literary award, presented annually by the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council to an unpublished manuscript by a first-time novelist from Newfoundland and Labrador. The award is named for the late Newfoundland writer Percy Janes.[1] The award comes with a cash prize, originally $1,500[2] and raised to $2,500 in 2014.[3]
