Phaloe cruenta is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It is found in South America, including Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia[2] and Uruguay.
The larvae have been recorded feeding on Eupatorium inulaefolium, Artemisa absynthium, Heliothropium tiaridoides and Tournefortia brachiata.[3]
