Phatichar

Phatichar (translation: poor, wearing tattered clothes) was a TV show broadcast on Doordarshan in 1991, starring Pankaj Kapur[1][2] in the titular role. His character lived in a cement pipe and the show portrayed life of the disadvantaged, on the margins, in a bitter-sweet manner.

The catch phrase of the show was - Arre yaar phatichar, tu itna emotional kyun hain?[3]
