Preciosas (lit: Beautiful; also known as Runaways) is a Chilean television drama series created by Catalina Calcagni, that originally aired on Canal 13 from August 1, 2016, starring Loreto Aravena, Pablo Macaya, and Paulo Brunetti. The series follows a group of fugitive women convicts from a high security prison in Santiago, and the relationship between its members.[1]
Plot
Lorena (Loreto Aravena) is a courageous woman who has managed to be happy despite the difficulties, however, a night with the death of one of the most important people in the country, Lorena is accused of a crime she did not commit.
This leads her to court where she meets two very special people. Alex Castillo (Pablo Macaya), his lawyer who quickly falls for her and will do anything to save her and Ismael Dominguez (Paulo Brunetti), a tax married the daughter of Arturo Márquez (Cristián Campos) presidential candidate. However, during the progress of the case Lorena is sent to prison until a final verdict.
In prison, meets Marta (Malucha Pinto), Frida (Paz Bascuñán), Elsa (Tamara Acosta), Montserrat (Lorena Bosch), Paola (Karla Melo) and Lisette (Susana Hidalgo). To know them will begin a plan to escape and escape the fate that has touched their lives.
