Prem Nawas is an Indian film actor and producer in Malayalam cinema. He was the brother of Prem Nazir, the evergreen hero of Malayalam Cinema. His real name was Abdul Wahab. Prem Nawas debuted as the hero of 'Koodapirappu' in 1956.[1] Prem Nawas was the hero in the first color film made in Malayalam, 'Kandam Becha Coat'.[2] He also played an important role in the blockbuster film 'Nellu', 1974 directed by Ramu Kariyattu. Prem Nawas's son Prem Kishore was an actor as well, acting in two Malayalam films, namely 'Vacation' and 'Thaskara Puthran'.
