Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Prize
The Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Prize (Premio Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz) is a prize awarded to women writers in Spanish. It is organized by the Guadalajara International Book Fair, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The prize is worth 100,000 pesos. The chosen book will also be translated into English for publication.
The prize is in honour of the seventeenth century Mexican writer Juana Inés de la Cruz.
