President of National College of Ireland
The President is the chief administrator at National College of Ireland. He or she is appointed by and is responsible to Governing Body, who delegate to him or her the day-to-day running of the college.
The President of the College is responsible for planning in conjunction with the Governing Body, and for the implementation of the policy and administrative decisions of the Governing Body. The President exercises overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the College, and plays a pro-active role as a member of the Governing Body, as well as chairing the Executive Committee of the College, the Academic Council, and other committees.[1]
