Princess Yasmine bint Asem (born 30 June 1975) was born in Amman. Her father is Prince Asem bin Al Nayef and her mother is Firouzeh Vokhshouri. Princess Yasmine's parents divorced in 1985 and in 1986 her father married Princess Sana Asem.[1]

Family
Princess Yasmine has two full sisters, Princess Sarah (born 12 August 1978) and Princess Noor (born 6 October 1982). She also has three paternal half-siblings: Prince Nayef (born 22 January 1998), Princess Salha (born 14 June 1987), and Princess Nejla (born 9 May 1988). Her stepmother is her father's current wife, Princess Sana Asem.
Marriage
On 31 August 2005, she married a Jordanian named H.E. Mr. Basel Yaghnam at her father's house in Amman, through a Nikah ceremony. Their official wedding took place on 2 September 2005 in Aqaba.
On 28 April 2008 Princess Yasmine gave birth to her first child, a boy called Hamzah Basel Yaghnam in Boston. On 22 June 2009 Princess Yasmine gave birth to her second child, a boy called Kiyan Basel Yaghnam in Amman, Jordan.
