Quandre Diggs (born January 22, 1993) is an American football cornerback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas. Diggs was drafted by the Lions in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
High school career
Considered a four-star recruit by ESPN.com, Diggs was listed as the No. 1 cornerback in the nation in 2011.[1]
College career
Diggs played college football at Texas, where he was a four-year player who played in 52 career games, with 49 starts. Diggs was named the Big 12 Conference Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2011. He was named to the Second-team All-Big 12 in 2011, and 2014, and was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2013. He ended his career tied for ninth on the Texas all-time interceptions list with 11, and tied for ninth with 37 career pass breakups.[2]
Professional career
Diggs was selected in the sixth round (200th overall) by the Detroit Lions in the 2015 NFL Draft.[3]
Personal
Diggs is the younger brother of former Longhorns and NFL defensive back Quentin Jammer.[2]
