Rajni Tiwari (Hindi: रजनी तिवारी) is an Indian politician and a member of the 16th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh.[4] She represents the Sawayazpur constituency and is a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party.[5][6]

Early life and education

Tiwari was born in Bilgram to a Hindu Brahmin family and completed her 12th from BGRM Inter College, Bilgram. She gained her graduation degree from Arya Kanya Degree College, Hardoi, Kanpur University .[3]

Personal life

Tiwari was married to Upendra Tiwari who was an MLA from Bilgram constituency.[7] He died in 2007 which left the Bilgram constituency seat vacant. Tiwari was elected as an MLA in the 2008 by-polls.[8]
