Ramlan Bin Ibrahim
Dato' Ramlan Bin Ibrahim (born 6 January 1957) is a Malaysian diplomat. Since 2015, he has been the Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the United Nations (UN) in New York.
Ibrahim has a science degree from the National University of Malaysia and a master's degree in international relations from University Kebangsaan Malaysia and a master's degree in international relations from Webster University in Missouri.
Ibrahim has worked at Malaysia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1983. In 2004 to 2006, he was Malaysia's ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina and from 2009 to 2013 was ambassador to South Korea.
Ibrahim became the Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the UN in New York in 2015. In 2015 and 2016, Malaysia has been a member of the United Nations Security Council, and in June 2015[1] and August 2016 Ibrahim was President of the Council.
