Ravindra Vishwanath Gaikwad (Marathi: रवींद्र विश्वनाथ गायकवाड) (birth 1960) is a member of the 16th Lok Sabha of India. He is famously known as Ravi Sir in their area. He represents the Osmanabad constituency of Maharashtra and is a member of the Shiv Sena political party. He was a two time MLA from omerga constituency. He has also been the Chairman of Killari Sugar Factory. His Major work has been creation of lakes to over come the drought problem in the area. He has also contributed majorly in setting up numerous substations in the constituency to over come the electricity problems. He is a director on the agriculture board committee in the central government. He defeated sitting MP Padamsinha Bajirao Patil who contested from Nationalist Congress Party by 235325 votes by obtaining 607699 votes against 373374.[1][2]
