ReSec Technologies is an enterprise cybersecurity company that combats against advanced cyber threats, such as malware, through preventative measures instead of relying on detection.
History
ReSec Technologies was founded in 2012 after co-founders Dotan Bar Noy and Oren Shnitzer saw a lack of solutions that focused on all-around prevention.[1] In 2016 ReSec received $5 million in Series A funding round led by PICO Venture Partners and Founders Group.[2] This round has allowed ReSec to focus its efforts on providing services to the North American market.
Technology
ReSec offers a 360 degrees protection to both large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs). The suite features a ReSecure product for email, web, FTP, file portal, file servers, endpoint and, the most recent addition to the suite is the ReSecure cloud mail. ReSec also offers the ReSecure Vault to protect data. ReSec's ReSecure Suite features the Content Disarm & Reconstruction (CDR) process. Unlike traditional malware detection service, the CDR process focuses on removing file elements that do not match the file structure by breaking the file into its most basic components, removing non-matching components, and rebuilding clean replicas that are delivered to the end user in real time.[3]
