Rhaesena is a genus of moths of the Noctuidae family.
Description
Palpi porrect where the second joint thickly scaled. Third joint moderate length. Antennae with long bristles and fascicualted cilia in male. Abdomen long with dorsal tuft on first segment. Tibia slightly clothed with scales. Fore wings long and narrow. The costa arched towards apex, which is acute. Areole short, with vein 7 given off beyond it. Males with a vesicle at upper angle of cell on underside covered by a valve of scales. Hind wings with vein 5 from below middle of discocellulars.[1]
