Ricardo Filipe da Silva Braga (born 3 September 1985), best known as Ricardinho, is a Portuguese professional futsal player who plays for Spanish club Inter FS[2] and the Portugal national team as a winger.
Nicknamed O Mágico (The Magician), he was named the Best Player of the World by Futsal Planet in 2010,[3] as a Benfica player, and in 2014 and 2015, as an Inter FS player.[4][5] Ricardinho is the first and only Portuguese futsal player to receive the award.
Club career
Ricardinho stated his futsal career at youth side Gramidense before moving to Miramar as a professional. Two years later he signed for S.L. Benfica.
Loan to CSKA Moscow
For the 2011–12 season, Ricardinho was loaned out to CSKA Moscow, though his time there was cut short, on 29 December 2011 he terminated his contract with the club stating a "lack of professionalism, and training quality" affecting his performance as factors in his decision.[6]
Loan to Benfica
On 3 January 2012, Ricardinho was loaned to Benfica for the remaining of the season, where he won the Liga Portuguesa and Taça de Portugal
Return to Nagoya Oceans
After completing his loan with Benfica, Ricardinho returned to Nagoya Oceans to complete the final year of his contract, wining the F.League for that season in the process
Inter FS
After completing his contract with Nagoya Oceans, Richardinho signed a 3 year deal with Inter FS.
International career
Ricardinho was a part of Portugal national team that finished fourth in the 2007 UEFA Futsal Championship held in Portugal, scoring four goals.
