Ricardo “Ricky” Blanchard is a retired St. Lucian association football player who spent most of his professional career in the USISL A-League.
Club
After he played in Portugal in 1994,[1] Blanchard signed with the New Orleans Riverboat Gamblers of the USISL Pro League in 1995. He moved east to the Long Island Rough Riders in 1996. On April 15, 1997, Blanchard again signed with the Gamblers.[2] In 1998, the Gamblers were renamed the St. Louis Storm. In 1999, Blanchard returned to the Rough Riders for the second time. In 2000, he played three games for Long Island before moving to the Connecticut Wolves.[3] In 2002, Blanchard moved down to the Westchester Flames in the USL D-3 Pro League. He returned to the Rough Riders in 2004, and again in 2005.
International
Blanchard played extensively for the Saint Lucia national football team.
