Rikenette Steenkamp (born 16 October 1992) is a South African track and field athlete who competes in the 100 metres hurdles. Her personal best is 13.16 seconds, set in 2014 while winning the gold medal at the 2014 African Championships in Athletics.[1] She represented Africa at the 2014 IAAF Continental Cup, taking fifth, and competed for South Africa at the 2009 World Youth Championships in Athletics.[2]
She attended Hoërskool Menlopark before going on to study sports science at the University of Pretoria.[3] Steenkamp missed the 2015 season as a result of a hamstring injury.[4]
She is a three-time national champion of the South African Athletics Championships.[5]
