Roberto José d'Aubuisson Munguía (born February 12, 1968, in Santa Tecla, La Libertad, El Salvador) is a salvadorean politician, Mayor of Santa Tecla City (2015 - ). Former member of salvadorean Legislative Assembly (Asamblea Legislativa de El Salvador) (1997 - 2015) Member of the National Executive Council (Consejo Ejecutivo Nacional) of Alianza Republicana Nacionalista (ARENA) (2014 - ).
He is the son of Mayor Roberto D'Aubuisson, founder of ARENA, and Yolanda Olimpia Munguía Araujo. On December 21, 1990, he married his wife Jackeline, with whom he has three children.
Early life
d'Aubuisson was raised a Roman Catholic. He attended to Colegio San Francisco, graduating in 1986. Then he attended Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado, where he majored in Agribusiness and Master in Reengineering. d'Abuisson also studied in Israel in the period 1989-1990 in the International Workshop on Challenges in Agricultural Development Policies and Strategies, in April 2013 received a National Development Seminar offered by the Republic of China Taiwan.
Political begening
His political career began in 1986 as Departmental Director of the Youth Sector for the Department of San Salvador 's ARENA Party, this until 1988. After that year, until 1989 he was National Director of the National Youth Sector ARENA.
In 1991 d'Aubuisson was member of the Municipal Board of San Salvador and the Youth Sector Partner of the ARENA Party. In 1993, he was a member of the Coordinating Committee of Social Development at the Presidential House. In 1994, he was advisor to the office of Deputy Minister of Transport and was also a member of the Departmental Assembly Joint San Salvador ARENA Party.
National Assembly of El Salvador
d'Aubuisson was Deputy owner for the National District in the period 1997 to 2000. Also in 1998 and 2000 he was National Director of Youth Sector ARENA . From 2003 through March 2015 he was deputy for the department of La Libertad and a member of the Joint Departmental Assembly of ARENA Party. From 2012 to 2015 he was Deputy Owner to Legislative Assembly of El Salvador by the Department of La Libertad.

d'Aubuisson was also Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of ARENA in the period 2007 - 2008 and was Secretary of the Board of the Legislative Assembly[1] in 2008 until 2012, he was later appointed Vice President of the Board of the Legislative Assembly[2] from 2012 through 2014. Roberto José d'Aubuisson has been involved in international organizations such as : ACYPL[3] (Salvadoran Chapter of the The American Council of Young Political Leaders) this is a bipartisan American organization that promotes exchanges of young political leaders in more than 100 countries worldwide, with the goal of understanding between different political forces. El Salvador Chapter founded 10 years ago by adopting the name ACYPL,[4] respecting the political vision of bringing together young people from different political parties in El Salvador. In the period 2000 to 2008 he served as Vice President of the Organization and in the period 2008, in 2010 was President of the same.
He received honorable mentions by international actors such as George W. Bush in May 1999 giving recognition Guest of Honor of the State of Texas; as well as the Mayor Lee P. Brown of the City of Houston, Texas, who gave recognition Honorary Citizen and Goodwill Ambassador.
City Hall of Santa Tecla
In the elections of mayors and deputies, d'Aubuisson ran for the City Hall of Santa Tecla under the ARENA Party Flag, achieving a win[5] against the Frente Fabarundo Martí para la Liberación Nacional (FMLN) candidate Armando Flores, and making Mayor of Santa Tecla. Currently the City Council is plural, with participation of ARENA and FMLN parties, with a majority of Councillors ARENA.
In May the 1st. of 2015 Roberto d' Aubuisson José takes possession of his f irst term as Mayor of Santa Tecla, where assumes its commitment to work to improve the quality of life of the people of Santa Tecla. His government has focused on strengthening and optimize areas such as health, sports, social, economic, culture and tourism.
For this, the Mayor and his team of municipal work has focused on developing comprehensive programs that seek to solve the needs of the people of Santa Tecla, such as strengthening and reopening of the municipal clinics markets; spraying campaigns to eradicate the mosquito transmitting dengue, chikungunya and zika; have acquired three new units to collect garbage; days of preventive cleaning streets, sewers and markets; patching streets were mostly damaged and installed electric lighting .
In addition, it is promoting technological development in the city opening spaces to take care to citizens with Tecla App , a mobile application which was launched in late 2015 is increased. With this application the citizens can report any need of the public services.
Support to the sports in Santa Tecla
Sports is one of the cornestones of d'Aubuisson government, green areas and parks to promote the sports in te city; the City Hall have benn worked on omproving El Cafetalón, and have buil new parks such as Adela Van Severen.[6] With these recreational areas d'Aubuisson maintained classes both men's soccer and women, basketball, skating lessons, karate, volleyball and aerobics.
