Rock for People (RfP) is one of the most popular open-air summer music festivals in the Czech Republic. The festival began in 1995 in the town Český Brod. In 2007 it was moved to the unused airport of Hradec Králové and since that time has welcomed many Czech, Slovak and international artists.
The festival features rock, indie, punk, hardcore punk, metalcore, electronic, ska, metal, pop, hip hop, world music, drum and bass, dubstep, reggae, but also theater, cycling, discussions, workshops, geocaching, team building activities, games and many more.
Notable acts that have performed at previous editions include The Prodigy, Muse, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Arctic Monkeys, My Chemical Romance, Pendulum, Morcheeba, Bullet for My Valentine, Kaiser Chiefs, The Offspring, Skunk Anansie, Parkway Drive, The Killers, Beatsteaks, Placebo, Ska-P, Manu Chao, Billy Talent, Basement Jaxx, Sum 41, Bloc Party, Static-X, The Hives, The Bloodhound Gang, Paramore and Enter Shikari.
