Ron Van Ryswyk was the first head football coach for the Frostburg State University Bobcats in Frostburg, Maryland and he held that position for six seasons, from 1961 until 1966. His overall coaching record at Frostburg was 21 wins, 27 losses, and 0 ties. As of completion of the 2007 season, this ranks him seventh at Frostburg in terms of total wins and sixth at Frostburg in terms of winning percentage.[1]
