History

2015

The inaugural Rugged Maniac Austin was held at the Travis County Exposition Center in Austin, Texas. The course was 3-mile off-road race over a series of obstacles.[1] Rugged Maniac has been hosted in Dallas and Houston in previous years, but event director of Rugged Maniac, Kaitlyn Long, cited that they were not a good fit to be a long term race venue.[2]
