The New York City Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle Course event has been held annually in Brooklyn since 2011. The event currently takes place at the Aviator Sports & Events Center, in Brooklyn, New York, United States. The 2016 event is held on June 25, 2016.[1][2]

2015

In 2015, the Rugged Maniac New York race was spread over two days, Saturday and Sunday, to accommodate the crowd of nearly 8,000 registrants.[3] Max Frumes and Jane Seo, the overall male and female winners on the first day, respectively, both set course records. John Hirsch and Christine Paprocky were the top male and female runners on the second day.[4][5] Jane Seo's victory was her second win in a row, since 2014. [6]
