Ruslan Nurudinov (born 24 November 1991 in Andijan, Uzbekistan) is an Uzbekistani weightlifter of Volga Tatar origin.[1] He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the -105 kg event. He is the first world champion for Uzbekistan in weightlifting. Ruslan earned Uzbekistan's second gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where Ruslan set a new Olympic record in the clean and jerk with a lift of 237 kg.
