Ruth Ndulu Maingi (born 22 May 1983) is a Kenyan actress.[1] She is one of Kenya's most celebrated actresses and quite notable for having leading roles in both television and film projects.
Career
Ruth started off as a dancer. She had a passion for performance art. Being a dancer and an actress was something that she had her heart set on. Her dancing career took off, performing in Doha, Addis Ababa, Kerala in India and regionally in Tanzania and Kenya.[2] Maingi has appeared in quite successful projects like the television series Lies that Bind in 2011.[3] In 2013, she was cast as leading lady in Swahili drama Mama Duka.[4][5]
