Ryan Paul Berry (born August 3, 1988 in Humble, Texas) is a minor league baseball pitcher.
Career
Berry attended Rice University, where he played college baseball for the Rice Owls baseball team.[1][2] He was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Houston College Classic in 2009.[3] He was also named to the All-Tournament Team of the 2009 Conference USA Baseball Tournament.[4]
The Baltimore Orioles drafted Berry in the ninth round of the 2009 MLB Draft, one pick after college teammate Brock Holt.[5] He pitched for the Delmarva Shorebirds in 2010.[6] He was considered one of the Orioles' best prospects.[7]
