Sacramento Islamic Mosque
Coordinates: 38°34′11″N 121°30′23″W / 38.569647°N 121.50641°W The Muslim Mosque Association, is the oldest mosque in the United States west of the Mississippi River, at 411 V St. in Downtown Sacramento, California. It now has a community composed of at least nine mosques, several Islamic schools and a Muslim cemetery. Leaders of the community estimate 35,000 Muslims live in the Sacramento area.[1]
