Salamah ibn al-Akwa
Salamah ibn al-Akwa (Arabic: سَلَمَةُ بن الأكوع) was one of the companions of Muhammad.
Name
His full name is "Salama ibn Amr ibn al-Akwa", the "ibn Amr" part is usually dropped. Thus, his father's name was Amr ibn al-Akwa. Other transliterations include "Salama bin Al-Aqwa".
Legacy
He is one of the notable narrators of hadith. He is known for being an excellent athlete and a very fast runner, and could even outrun horses.
