Samaquta (Aymara sama color, quta lake,[1] "color lake", hispanicized spelling Samaccota) is a lake in Peru located in the Arequipa Region, Caylloma Province, Tisco District, northeast of the mountain P'allqa (Palca) and northwest of Samaquta.[2]
