History

NXT (2016-present)

After a series of cryptic vignettes, on October 4, 2016 was announced that "SAnitY" would be part of the second annual Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, even though the identity of the group members wasn't revealed.[1] On the October 12 episode of NXT, the stable made their debut during the first round of the tournament as four hooded individuals. The first two members to unmask were Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton, who defeated Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode, after the latter walked out on his tag team partner. After the match, the other two members were revealed to be Eric Young and Nikki Cross after attacking a helpless Dillinger.[2] The following week, Cross made her in-ring debut against Danielle Kamela. Cross won the match but continued to beat down Kamela, forcing the referee to reverse his decision.[3] On November 2, in the second round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Wolfe and Fulton continued their dominance in a convincing victory against fan favorites T.J. Perkins and Kota Ibushi. In the semi finals, on November 9, SAnitY were knocked out of the tournament by TM61. At the NXT Tapings on November 30, 2016 it was teased that Fulton was no longer associated with the group after Eric Young stomped on Fulton's jacket before kicking it out of the ring. Big Damo was teased as a potential new member of the faction after attacking No Way Jose and also stomping on and kicking Fulton's jacket as well.[4]
