Santra is one of the most popular R&B, Soul and Hip Hop Bulgarian singers. Born on 26 October 1983. She was born into the family of a musician and an English teacher. She started playing the piano at the age of 11. She started her career at the age of 15 at the stage of the musical show "Hit minus one" on the Bulgarian national TV channel. She finished 1st in her category and then 3rd in the yearly contest. Then at the age of 16 she recorder her first album called "Santra". The first recorder song of the album is her hit single "Bez teb" which is #7 at the top 500 Bulgarian ballads to this day. With the first released single "What about last night?"the album produced also the single "Ne me obichash veche" which was a feature with the most popular at the time Bulgarian rapper Spens. The song topped the charts for a long time and was #1 for the 2001 yearly musical bulgarian chart.

Education

She had 3 year musical break in which she was studying "Business administration" at City University.

Comeback

in 2005 she returned to the stage with the song "Az i ti" featuring Kristo. The song became a hit in Greece and the two made 6 other songs together all of which were to top the bulgarian charts. As a team they also had a radio talk show which aired for a year on the bulgarian radio station "The Voice". From then number of hit singles followed all of which topped the charts.

TV appearances

She was a producer and a host of a hit reality show program called "Close UP".[1] It was a hit with many followers and lovers both from Bulgaria and around the world.

She has acted in a role within the movie called "Shht popey mi!"
