Sara Castañeda (born 5 December 1996) is a Filipino women's international footballer who plays as a midfielder. She is a member of the Philippines women's national football team. She was part of the team at the 2015 and 2016 AFF Women's Championship. With her collegiate team De La Salle Lady Booters, she competed in 2016 in the UAAP Season 78 football tournaments and scored in the final against UP Lady Maroons but lost with 1-2. She became after the tournament Rookie of the Year.[1]
