Sasfin Bank is a commercial bank in the Republic of South Africa. It is one of the locally controlled banks licensed by the Reserve Bank of South Africa which is the national banking regulator.[1] The bank serves both individuals and businesses, focusing on large corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals.[2] The stock of the bank's holding company Sasfin Holdings Limited, is listed at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, where it trades under the symbol: SFN.[3] The World Bank, through its arm International Finance Corporation (IFC), owns a US$10 million equity shareholding at Sasfin, which it acquired in July 2009.[4]
