Senawang
Senawang is a satellite town located in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
Geography
Senawang is situated about 7 kilometres south from Seremban town. Its 30 minutes driving from Rembau at south. It is connected to Kajang via the Kajang–Seremban Highway and Kuala Pilah through the Bukit Putus Viaduct. A higher-level flat terrain than other towns in Seremban. The terrain is suitable for industry, housing, commercial and property development.
Demographics
Bahasa Melayu, the national language, is one of the principal languages of Senawang. Other major languages spoken in the town are Mandarin, Cantonese and Tamil. English has a strong presence, especially in business, and is a compulsory language taught in schools.

Retail
The high number of residents in Senawang attracted developers to build commercial parks. The most notable is the Senawang Commercial Park Hypermarkets such as Giant Hypermarket, Mydin hypermarket are main contributory. Other groceries and mini-markets like KiP Mart, 99 Speedmart and Family Store are also available.
Food
Lots of fast food chains like McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza and Secret Recipe (restaurant) are now the main attractions in Senawang. All were located in Senawang Commercial Park (well known as Taipan of Senawang).
For local food lover, Restoran Kak Lang had 3 branch in Taman Senawang Jaya, Taman Lavender Height[1] and Taman Desa Dahlia. Sate Kajang Haji Samuri also famous on their sate located on Taipan Senawang area. Famous Arab cuisine restaurant were Nasi Arab Damsyik in Jalan Paroi - Senawang and Lazeez Arabic Restaurant in Persiaran Senawang 2. Senawang also famous with its Ice blended in Taman Matahari Height, Cendol durian Zareen, in front of balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Senawang, and laksa of Two Dia Sup Utara stall in Taman Desa Melur. To find a place to eat with ample parking, Senawang D'Cattleya is suitable and consist of 3 restaurants which is NKI Bistro, Nasi Lemak Senawang and Junction Café.
Senawang Light Industry Area
Sri Senawang Light Industries was industrial area in Senawang. Due to nearest to Senawang Interchange. Some notable electronic manufacturing company is ON Semiconductor, other were located in Tuanku Jaafar Light Industrial area area Samsung SDS, and NXP Semiconductors. Other company in Senawang area included Seagate Systems (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kawasan Perusahaan Senawang Baru.
Transportation
Bus
There is only one bus company that services the route from Seremban. Two bus stop location in front of Giant Hypermarket Senawang and Taman Jasmin Senawang was adjacent to local taxi stand. This easy excess of public transportation.

Rail
KTM Komuter has extended commuter service to Senawang.[2] The 8.5 km (5.3 mi) extension commuter services is from Seremban to Senawang and Sungai Gadut, Negeri Sembilan. Completed in 2011, it was part of the Seremban-Gemas line.[2]
Indian company IRCON International Limited was awarded the project to build and upgrade the 98km stretch between Seremban and Gemas.[3] The project had been divided into two phases – Seremban–Sg Gadut (11.3km) and Sg Gadut–Gemas (86.8km). [3]
The south-bound Komuter and Electric Train Service (ETS) will be extended to the new Sg Gadut station near here on 2010 Christmas Day. The new Senawang station will also be opened on the same day.[3]
Education
Malay is the language of instruction for most subjects while English is a compulsory subject and is used as the language of instruction for mathematics and the natural sciences. There are also schools which provide Mandarin and Tamil as languages of instruction for certain subjects.
In Senawang only, there are 6 elementary schools. There are several notable schools located in the city which have existed for more than a decade, such as, SMK Senawang (1992), SK Senawang (1992),SK Taman Seri Pagi (1998), SMK Seri Pagi (2000), SMK Seremban Jaya (2004) located in Seremban Jaya and SMK Taman Forest Height or known as SMK Senawang 3 (2014).
