Sergei (Sergey) Karaulov (Russian: Серге́й Николаевич Караулов; born April 15, 1982) is an Uzbekistani-Russian professional basketball player who currently plays for TEMP-SUMZ Revda of the Russian Basketball Super League.[1]
Professional Career
He has previously played for BC Krasnye Krylia, Triumph Lybuertsy, Lokomotiv Rostov, Spartak Primorye, BC Nizhny Novgorod and Khimki.[2]
NBA Draft
Karaulov was drafted by San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the 2004 NBA Draft (58th overall pick).
National Teams
Having a dual nationality, Karaulov can represent either Uzbekistan or Russia nationally. He played for Uzbekistan at the 2001 ABC Championship and Russia at the 2007 Universiade.[3]
