The Seth Adams House is a historic house located at 72 Jewett Street, in the village of Newton Corner, in Newton, Massachusetts. It is a 2 1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, four bays wide, with a front-facing gable, and an elaborately decorated porch that wraps around two sides. The house was, in the 1870s, home to Seth Adams, one of Newton's wealthiest residents and a major benefactor of the Adams-Nervine Asylum in Jamaica Plain.[2] The house is now a condominium consisting of 3 apartments.[3] On September 4, 1986, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.[1]
