Shane Gibson (author)
Shane Gibson (born 1975 in British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian business writers, known as co-author of the book "Closing Bigger the Field Guide to Closing Bigger Deals" with Captain Trevor Greene. He also developed a document for the UNDP called the Livelihoods Pathfinder in collaboration with Mr. Craig J. Young and Jamie Schnurr. His most recent book Guerrilla Social Media Marketing was co-authored with Jay Conrad Levinson the creator of Guerrilla Marketing.
Having traveled widely as a guest speaker at conferences in South Africa, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, India, Dubai, Malaysia and throughout Canada and the USA, Gibson has garnered moderate notoriety as a sales performance and social media author and professional conference speaker. Notable conference speaking includes the National Conference for Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs (Vancouver, Canada, 2000), World Summit for Youth Entrepreneurs (2006 São Paulo, Brazil), Congreso Internacional Marketing & Ventas (Santiago, Chile 2009), World Trade Week (Grand Rapids, Michigan May 2010), World Brand Congress (Mumbai 2011).
2008 Recipient of the Chairman's Award for 14 years of engaged community leadership by the Vancouver Board of Trade. 2014 Named #5 on the Forbes list of The Top 30 Social Sales People in the World Forbes
