Sheldon Lee (politician)
Sheldon Albert Lee (born March 24, 1933) is a former Canadian politician. He was the Liberal member of Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick for the riding of Charlotte Centre from 1978 to 1995 and then for the new district of Charlotte from New Brunswick general election, 1995 until his retirement at the calling of the 2003 election.
He is the son of the late Arthur Frederick Lee and Helen Blanche Justason. In 1956, he married Elinor Joan Matthews. Lee was an unsuccessful candidate for a seat in the provincial assembly in 1974. He served as Transportation Minister throughout the Liberal administrations of Frank McKenna, Ray Frenette and Camille Thériault from 1987 to 1999. Today, Lee lives in retirement in Bonnyriver, New Brunswick.
