Shemshak-e Bala (Persian: شمشك بالا, also Romanized as Shemshak-e Bālā; also known as Shemshak and Shimshak)[1] is a former village in Rudbar-e Qasran Rural District, Rudbar-e Qasran District, Shemiranat County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 672, in 192 families.[2] It was subsequently annexed to the city of Shemshak.
