Shervin Najafian (Persian: شروین نجفیان ) is an Iranian actor, singer, composer and poet born in Tehran, Iran. His song Zarbdar is featured as the opening title in 2009 film No One Knows About Persian Cats'.
Short biography
Shervin Najafian was born in Tehran in 1976. In 1986, Shervin got his first role in a TV show called ''The Mother of Manville''. He is graduated of Tehran Conservatory of Music (viola and piano). He is a very talented guitar player, singer, classical and Persian traditional music composer. He was recently featured in 2009 film No One Knows About Persian Cats, presented at Cannes International Film Festival, where the film won the Special Jury Prize Ex-aequo "Un Certain Regard". The film soundtrack features Shervin's song Zarbdar, also known as 'Man ki am". Shervin currently resides in Europe. His uncle is the very well known movie star and theater artist, Rasoul Najafian.
