Sierzno [ˈɕeʐnɔ] (Kashubian: Sérzno; German: Zerrin) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bytów, within Bytów County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Bytów and 81 km (50 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

The village has a population of 153.

History

Kreis Bütow

In the Prussian era, this village (Zerrin) belonged to Kreis Bütow (or Landkreis Bütow). Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
