Silver Spring Square is a shopping center in Silver Spring Township, Pennsylvania. Its major tenants opened in 2007, with several other parcels opening in early 2008. It is located along the highly traveled Carlisle Pike 2 miles outside of the borough of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and less than a mile from Hampden Township, the most populated township in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Gross Leasable Area (GLA) is 485,620 sq.[1] The shopping center is known for bringing the first of several chains to the Harrisburg area, most notably Wegmans.
